  1. Baglung District, also known as "district of  suspension bridges" is a hilly district of Nepal.
  2. It has an area of 1,784 km² and has a population (2011) of 268,613.
  3. Baglung is surrounded by Parbat, Myagdi, Rukum, Ropla, Pyuthan and Gulmi districts.
  4. It has 59 Village Development Committees and one Municipality.
  5. Baglung Bazzar (Baglung Municipality) is the headquarter of Baglung Districts.
  6. Baglung is diverse in different aspects like culture and religion, .
  7. Altitude of Baglung varies from about 650 meters at Kharbang to about 4,300 meters in Dhorpatan.
  8. Baglung Municipality, Hatiya- Galkot and Burtibang are the main trading centers of Baglung.
